A Holiday PreludeIt's that time of year,
when snow falls to the ground.
The lights they glow,
beaming all around.
Christmas carolers sing,
spreading their harmonious sound.
About the goodness of the season,
and all it may bring.
It may not yet be Christmas,
and the holiday you celebrate may not be mine.
But why let that stop the jovial ring,
of this wonderful, lyrical, magical time?
Why do we not all join hands,
and sing a beautiful tune?
Because no matter what you believe in,
my beliefs will stand true.
I believe in a day of warmth and compassion,
a day that is a fantastical prelude,
no matter if you are young, old, meek or bold
Soft DefenderMy army of teddy bears.
Their cuteness fooling many.
A duty to shield me from my nightmares.
When my eyes start getting heavy.
My soft defenders always by my side.
Nothing gets by them, 'cause they're always ready.
Seven wordsLove
a lie, make it seem
like lack of self-esteem
we, a team
forever we dream
Hatred
burns you up
swallows you whole
not going to stop
until you lost control
Friendship
of highest value
self-benefit only
and sometimes so very true
so you don't feel lonely
Desire
spreads like wild fire
burns like a funeral pyre
makes you blind and weak
it is the doom you seek
Power
goddess of the hour
everyone you can read
is bound to follow your lead
it is your lightning-struck tower
Honesty
do you lie to me?
I begin to see
whom to trust or not
something you forgot
Knowledge
do you read or lead
is it trick or treat
do you even know
to earn you must sow?
