What was your first deviation?
It's probably sitting in my gallery somewhere (or maybe buried in my scraps), but I hope it never sees the light of day.


What is your favourite type of art to create?
I used to enjoy creating digital art the most, but now I'm moving more towards water colors and cosplay (sewing).


If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?
I would love to be able to master abstract/surreal digital art. Something like this, basically:

Digital art, like the one above, and photography.

I can reminisce forever, but I'll keep it short with just Celvas, who is one of the most fascinating people I know.

What are your preferred tools to create art?
Used to just be my tablet and Photoshop. Now I spend quality time wrestling my sewing machine.


What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?
Quiet places or art studios.

Usually, I'm a bad sport and don't do tags, but for novelty's sake, I will this time. But, I'll pick and choose the questions I answer because I'm just that much of a bad sport.

1. Favorite cereal?
Something called "Heart to Heart", I think? It's basically Cheerios with heart-shaped pieces along with the normal donut-shaped pieces, but somehow it tastes so much better. I discovered it at Cornell, and it now sits at #1 on my list of favorite cereals.

3. You're stuck on a Pacific Island, Cast Away style, but the cargo plane you were on that crashed was full of novelty items...What totally useless but amusing thing would you want to have with you?
Rubik's Cube!

4. How would you feel about switching gender for a week(not gonna ask what you do, we all know the answer to that question )?
I've always wondered what it would be like to be a boy. My tiny five-foot-tall self would also greatly enjoy being taller, even if it only lasts a week.

5. What is one art form you wish you could be better at that isn't the one that is your main focus now?
Everything, haha. Art in general hasn't been my main focus for about a year now, as my empty submission record shows. I'd like to be better at everything, obviously, but not enough that I'm willing to invest the time needed, these days.

6. How do you feel about me eluding to masturbation in question 4?
Stahp.

7. If you could create your own original theme for Lego(meaning not a licensed theme like Star War, Minecraft, Simpsons), what would it be?
Despite how incredibly unhelpful and useless it would be for building, I would want... spherical legos. Don't ask me how it would work. I just want spherical legos for the lolz.

8. Favorite appliance in your house?
The toaster holds a special place in my heart.

9. Least favorite country in the world?
North Korea.

At school in fourth grade.

I must try to suppress the memories of terrible movies, because I can't think of any now even though I'm positive I've seen some incredibly horrible movies. Hmmm..

Hey all! New updates were made to my profile directory that may be of interest to those who have purchased one:

• Custom column layout: You can now make 3, 4, 5, etc. columns for the main buttons and fill your directory with buttons to your heart's content.
• Long buttons: Within the column layout, you can pick specific buttons to fill the entire directory
• Font Styling: Fonts can now be italic, bold, or letter-spaced
• Google Fonts should now work in the preview, so you can see exactly how the fonts will appear on your page.

So, next week, I'll be flying back from NY just in time to frantically finish last-minute cosplay and then head off to FanimeCon. I don't know anyone else who's going to the con, so I thought I might as well ask here.

(...Anyone? Plz, I don't want to be alone. )

Any info about con experiences in general would be lovely to hear. Fanime will actually be my first real con, as the only other "con" I've been to was a small event at my college that attracted about 100 people (which is miniscule compared to Fanime's 25,000). I'm a bit lost about what to expect from such a large con, as well as my first time actually cosplaying, so tips or advice would be lovely.

For those who were wondering where I've been for the last few months, the answer is school. I'll probably post with more updates and plans regarding dA after FanimeCon, when things will finally settle down.
