Trying something new with my first poem.
You are...beautiful.No matter how diligently we try not to judge people for things they cannot change such as their race, appearance, or sexuality, we have to accept that it happens all of the time. Even if we do not actually act on our prejudices, they still exist and hinder our ability to see others clearly.
The internet fascinates me because of how anonymous we are allowed to be in contrast to real life. In deviantART, for example, we can chat, collaborate, work, and become extremely close to people who we do not even know the real names of. When I meet someone new here, I typically only know their gender, where they are from, and possibly their age. Most of the time, I have no clue what race/ethnicity they are or what they even look like. I love this sort of anonymity because you are able to look past whatever superficial details to understand what kind of person they truly are.
