Alrighty, so the reason I chose to use "air headed" as my inspiration for this skin is because the mood of the painting really caught my attention. Even though the artist used bright, powerful colors such as red-orange and gold throughout the piece, the dark blue background gave the artwork a more reserved feel. In addition, although the drawing was done with a rough and sketchy look, I thought that the work overall gave off a feel of elegance.
I tried to recreate this mood in my journal skin by using the dark blue as the main color with the brighter colors thrown in as embellishment. I wanted to create something ambiguous, something both dark and light to reflect how the original artwork looked to me. The geometric design in this skin (the straight lines on the right and the triangles next to the headings) was inspired by the triangles in the girl's hair, and I also thought that it helped to convey the elegance in the original artwork.
this would make a terrific "literature" skin too!...can you see it?.... bravo..as usual.. oh! this is beginning to get boring... make a mistake or two will you please dear...? Just to keep 'em on their toes....
you're just too bad girl!.... ..P.
Interviewer: Just before we discuss the latter stages of this eminent philosopher and , some say "the last English eccentric" shall we perhaps have a reading of a short extract from the posthumously published papers of this celebrated author, poet, and practising knotter and cyclist: Peter "code word error" Adewale:
".......A free skin!, just because it's got a couple errors? ....really!.." ....our erstwhile protagonist's lips were working overtime.. being well and truly in the auto licking phase when he thought to himself, and this, according to our subject, was where his troubles truly began, "how bad could it be...? she's not really programmed to do things badly......is she...?"
and, dear readers of this sorry tale..., is where all my troubles began......
Now that you mention it, it seems obvious. I could have come out great had I waited longer. Didn't even think of that.
Oh, why would he worry about that? The prizes are quite something, and the jurors pretty prestigious. I had to take part because there is all to gain and nothing to lose, and I don't necessarily mean the prizes. I just wanted to be a part of it all, if that makes any sense.
